Adium
A jabber XMMS compliant client with support for the main standards like MSN, AOL, ICQ, Jabber and then some exotic and interesting ones like Facebook chat, Mobile Me, Gadu Gadu and Bonjour. This makes it a really useful and full featured client design for the Mac itself. No wonder Mac users rate it highly !
Microsoft MSN client
Apart from it being only for MSN it does work as described but its fair to say the Mac version probably isnt maintained as well as the Windows versions. I used to use the client but eventually switched to Adium
